Exactly what I needed,

Living in an older house with a small bathroom can be practically claustrophobic, so when I began renovating I decided to try to save as much space as possible. The bathroom is 5'9" by 5' - not a lot of space, but by swapping to a smaller, more efficient toilet, a clawfoot tub that is a little smaller than the old setup and the barclay sink a ton of room is saved.
The sink itself is perfect - it's small, attractive and was easy to install. Since a bathroom lavatory is essentially for washing hands, shaving and brushing teeth it's big enough, but at 15" by 10" or so it's about a third the size (area) of the smallest sink I could find at local bathroom/home renovation stores. Being wall-hung rather than in a cabinet or on a pedestal allows a small wastebasket underneath, saving floor space.
My only concern with it was the risk of overflows - its small bowl fills quite fast, and I was worried that the kids might make a big mess that way, but the overflow drain...Read more
