Comment: We recently bought new vessel sinks and the mounting ring that came with them were very cheap. We ordered these mounting rings and were pleasantly surprised with the quality and weight of the product. Highly recommend if you are wanting something that will last and look great.

Comment: This mounting ring is nicer than ones I've used from other companies. It's very heavy weight and well finished, and has a thick rubber gasket which keeps asymmetrical bowls from spinning on the ring and makes a tighter fit without over-tightening the drain nut. A little clear silicone between the ring and countertop makes for a better install

Summary: Solid, beautiful mounting ring 2009-07-13
Comment: We remodelled our bathroom and installed two vessel sinks. We purchased this oil rubbed bronze mounting ring. Like other Decolav products, the mounting ring is well built and looks very good. Keep in mind that the decobronze is not as dark as your typical oil rubbed bronze finish. It is more a dark grey color, as seen in the picture. The ring is also quite thick (3/4 inch thick). Ensure that your drain fitting is sufficiently long to accomodate the ring as well as other surfaces.
